you have to try really hard to have 15 hits in a game and only score 2 runs. LOL

Max, that game was truly bizarre. My pitchers seemed to dig in and get the Strikeouts when they needed them. The 3 caught stealing's hurt you too, but my boy Lancelotti was giving out the Mutumbo finger waive all day. :D "Not on my watch" All of which is rather ironic, because he had a mess of a season defensively in 2023. 120 SB in only 83 Games Started!!! :o

I'll be honest though, if we manage to hold off Boston, our sweep of your Bozos followed by our series win against the Crablegs will likely be the reason. It hasn't been as chaotic at the top of the AL as past seasons have been considering KC faded quite awhile back and NYA and BAL are all but sunk, but Toronto, Boston, and my Cleveland team are all looking really strong.

As for railing on our respective teams...I've had a lot of success drafting at the bottom of the 1st round for quite a few seasons running now. But one draft pick has been a real censored in the punchbowl. Elijah Fisher has been Cleveland's "shining example of futility". I didn't expect much out of the guy when he was drafted, but I figured he would eventually have a somewhat decent season. Nope! And just to pile of top of it all, he's a southpaw who can't even get LH hitters out. Even if we could make substitutions based on opposing batters, he'd still be worthless.
