World Series

Since there is a day inbetween the end of the regular season and the World Series, are all the players fully rested by the Series?

I beleive there is 1 day off before the series starts. However, keep in mind that position players do not get rest on off days. They need to sit out a game. I hope you read this in time to get you players rested for the series. Your starting pitchers will get credit for rest though, but not the relief pitchers. So if you have the division wraped up I suggest you demote all of your star players for at least 1 game today. Good luck!

Thanks Andrew. Bob was a big help...

Anyways, I did miss a chance to change my lineup. But that was mostly due to the fact that the games were run early today. Can someone explain why yesterdays' were 5 1/2 hours late and todays' were 2 hours early?? I think I could have done without the evening out process.

Could I have sent my players to the minors and called them up before the World Series? Can you make transactions after the season? Also, my "staff ace" (really my #2 starter, but went 13-5 in the second half! after an 8-8 first half) pitched my last game. Does that mean he'll be the 5th starter in the World Series? Can I change things around?

I think he should be good to go in game #3. Check his meter.

As a last resort put him as your #2 starter (or #1 if he is really your ace) and he will pitch as soon as possible.

Also I have no clue as to why the games ran when they did. That is pretty lame that it essentally messed up your W.S. lineup.

The season ended on 10/1, the World Series starts on 10/4. What does that do for me, Andrew? My best player has three yellow bars remaining, so Im guessing he can go once, maybe two games in before he needs a rest, am I right? Do those three days maybe give me an opportunity to start my 21-game winner in Game 1? And will their energy be restored the day before the World Series or the day of? Sorry, Ive never gotten this far.

I don't blame you this is confusing stuff. I will try and get all of these questions shot down.

"My best player has three yellow bars remaining, so Im guessing he can go once, maybe two games in before he needs a rest, am I right?"
Not positive about this but I would say he has 2 games left before getting tired. (just a note, if he is a lefty hitter then be sure to sit him against a LHP if you face on in the first 2 games then he can be save to tear up the RHP, hope that made sence)

"Do those three days maybe give me an opportunity to start my 21-game winner in Game 1?"
Depends what bar he is on. If he started in one of the last 2 games of the season i don't think you will have him for game 1

"And will their energy be restored the day before the World Series or the day of?"
I don't think I understand this question but I think the awnser you need is this: what ever bar of "energy" he is on is taking into acount the 3 off days between the end of the regular season and the begining of the World Series.

Of course now that i think of it by the time you read this it will probably be too late. Anyways, good luck again!
