New Feature

On the leaders page, you can now view the Single Season all time leader for each stat category. I haven't tested it fully yet, its slow but it seems to work.

Any calculated stats aren't quite working yet (ERA, AVG, SLG, etc.)

AWESOME! Will it show the correct team for players who were traded? Also, is there any chance of getting a Career Stats, leader board?

I just tried SLG, and it seemed to work fine, and BAT works, but not OBP.

I tried to do career stats a while back and it was surprisingly complex. Maybe later, it would be cool though.

I thought of this the other day and knew it would be pretty straight forward.

Should show the correct team for traded players.

It includes the most recent season, but maybe it shouldn't for calculated stats.

Very cool!!!

One thing, and I think you noticed it, is if the current season stats could be excluded. Right now Ray Sellers is hitting like .417 and at the top of the Single Season BA laeders. It seems to work perfectly though.

Okay I was too slow to point that out.:D

I think it is fine showing the current stats, even for the calculated ones, because that way you can know how your guys stack up against the greats of the past. On the other hand, it wouldn't be that hard to look at the 1960 leaders screen to and then compare to the single season leaders.

It also helps for HOF selection, because you can see who had the top totals for a season. For example, Jot Swartzbaugh would definitately get my vote, because I can see that he had some of the highest triples totals for a season, and if he had had a full career, would have had a lot more triples too.

I'll let you guys decide on the 1960 stats, it would take 10 minutes to fix it to exclude those stats.

Actually, I think I would cast my vote in against keeping the current stats, and include them after the season is over. This is because 10 of the 20 leaders in ERA are from 1960. That seems kind of ridiculous to me.

no for the current season

I say exclude the current season. Excellent feature, though. Thanks, Tyson.
