Starting Pitchers

There are eight starting pitchers that met my (very liberal) nomination criteria â?? they played in an All Star game and theyâ??ve retired. In my opinion there are three strong candidates â?? Eaton, Goldsmith and Radbourn. Here are all the nominees (in alphabetical order), along with my votes.
Barnes, Bill: Only 1 AS appearance in 7 years and a 4.45 ERA. Decent player, but didnâ??t even get 100 wins. Vote: NO.
Burkhart, Billy: Similar stats to Barnes. Better ERA, slightly worse record. Only 1 AS appearance. Vote: NO.
Carlin, Barney: .500 career record means youâ??re not HOF material. Only 1 AS appearance. Vote: NO.
Eaton, Freddy: 3 AS appearances and finished in the top 5 in the Cy Young voting 3 times. 117-99 career record with a 2.94 ERA. I think heâ??s close, but I just donâ??t think heâ??s quite at the HOF level. Vote: NO.
Goldsmith, Fred: Remarkably similar stats to Eaton, so I vote the same way. Close, but no cigar. Vote: NO.
Grant, Fernando: Heâ??s one of those guys who somehow got onto one AS team, so he gets included on the nomination list. But heâ??s not even close to a HOF pitcher. Vote: NO.
Martin, Rocky â??Popsâ??: Similar to Grant â?? not a HOFer. Vote: NO.
Radbourn, Hoss: Definitely the best of the lot. Career record of 134-59, with a 0.98 WHIP and a 2.04 ERA. 5 time AS and 2 time Cy Young winner. Even finished in the top 5 for the Fireman award late in his career. The only thing holding him back was that the beta league started when he was 33 and he was only able to pitch 9 years. Still, he was so dominant that I think he should get in. Vote: YES.

Radbourn: Yes.
Also, I'd like to see a "Special Induction" for Kilroy "Killer" Monteray. Anybody have his stats handy?

YES
Freddy Eaton - very close; in a few more seasons, as we have more pitchers to choose from, we should get a clearer picture as to whether he's HoF-worthy; at this moment though, he's a

Fred Goldsmith - see comments for Eaton above;

Radborn may not be close to the guys we have now but for his era (50' -52') he was dominate. YES on Radburn.
