Bob
Relief Pitchers

There are 6 relievers that met the nomination criteria. Unfortunately, a lot of them are really marginal pitchers who made 1 AS appearance along the way. I donâ??t think any of these guys are even close, but nonetheless, here they are:
Chapman, Bob: Got nominated because he appeared in 1 AS game. But heâ??s no HOFer. Vote: NO.
Ewing, Rick: I have no idea how he appeared in 2 AS games despite a career ERA of 5.08. Somehow got 124 career saves, but he still doesnâ??t belong in the HOF. Vote: NO.
Ford, Flash: God, no. Vote: NO.
Giallombardo, Bill: Not even close. Vote: NO.
James, Jerry: Nope. Vote: NO
Taylor, Ken: Snuck onto 1 AS team, so he gets nominated. But he only pitched 75.1 innings his whole career so thereâ??s no way in hell heâ??s a HOFer. Vote: NO.

No one here is even close. Still waiting for HoF-calibur relief pitchers to retire (i.e. Frank Lubratich)...

No to all. Next season (this afternoon?) there will probably be some decent candidates...

I guess on this we shouldn't all have to vote but I will just say no to all as well.
