really. i kno that but most of the best ones do. anyway my dad encourages it. me and him watch them together and last time i checked there were guns in pg-13 movies which i can get into so i must not b too young to watch them.

The Usual Suspects is one of my favorite movies of all time. The Godfather is the best though. Just to name a few of my favorites...The Best Action/Drama Films

Snatch, The Sandlot, Ace Ventura, Lord of the Rings (the second one), Black Hawk Down, Training Day. The Matrix Reloaded is the only movie I have seen recently that was any good.BTW if you like watching bad movies just to laugh at them (I do), watch The League of Extraordinary Gentalmen and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

C'mon, movies suck. Movies get pumped out of Hollywood like burgers out of McDonalds. You eat bland, lifeless food long enough, you start to think it tastes good. You watch bland, lifeless movies long enough, you get the same effect. But then I suppose these movies today are okay if all you want is 90 minutes of cheesy CGI effects, hot chicks, and explosions. Anyone agree with me, or am I just a nut?Faves:

Duff77 is right about some movies, for example Gigli. I havent seen it (and have no desire to see it) but it only made 5.6 million in its first week. Most of the choices on the poll are classics. The Godfather for example. On the Waterfront released in 1954 and movies werent pumped out of Hollywood then like they are now. Also all those movies have great actors in them. Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Joe Peschi, Robert Deniro, Christopher Walken, Robert Duvall, James Caan, etc. Movies today arent bad well some of them anyway. And there are still very talented actors out there like Denzel Washington, Cuba Gooding Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Martin Lawrence, Will Smith, Tobey Mcguire, Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, Jackie Chan, Eddie Murpy, Robin Williams, all the people listed before, etc.

Any movie that stars J-Lo and Ben Affleck and made that little amount of money. I cant imagine how bad the script was. Jennifer Lopez on her own usually brings in more money than that...and you add Affleck. It is probably one of the worst movies of all time.

They might not have earned $600m in box office and you might not find them on your new releases shelf at Blockbuster, but try thinking outside the Hollywood marketing machine and try something a bit different for a change. The world doesn't start and end at The Matrix.

ok so thats ur blockbuster. i go to hollywood video so it mayb different there. actually i belong to both my dad just switches video stores when ever we get a late fee. i love old movies. i love the classics such as the godfather and on the waterfront. my family pretty much loves the old movies schef is my witness. u were talking about watching movies that hollywood tells u to then one of ur examples of a great movie is punch drunk love, an adam sandler movie that people watch bcuz adam sandler is in it. all u have proved is that u have retarded people working at blockbuster. and that u stood and counted the number of copies of the hot chick.
