Moov sent a new version of the depth chart that incorporates the Rest images if a player is resting.

Maybe we sould slow things down when the league gets to September so that we have time to really fool with the rest stuff?

Well the code is out there already - so problems are going to be found on the main site. Might as well keep plowing ahead

While you're finagling with the Depth Chart, could you make it useful, rather merely informative? What I mean is, could you allow us to put in OUR depth chart that so that if my 1b is injured or needs to rest ABE goes to my backup 1b instead of putting a C or 3b at 1b because ABE thinks that's the best available guy?
For example: I have a RF who is a C- health, meaning he has to be rested fairly frequently. I'd like a young player who platoons at one position to play RF those days to get the AB's for improvement chances. But ABE will never put him in RF, because I have other OF's available who appear (to ABE) to be better players. If we had a true depth chart, I could list that rookie as my backup RF and when my #1 guy is not availabe, the kid would get some additional at-bats.

Something like that is on the drawing board - but its not easy. You're talking about specifying replacements for particular players once they are tired - ahead of time - right?

Exactly. I don't know what ABE's "logic" is right now, but that would have to be changed so he looks at the depth chart as we've input it, rather than doing whatever he does now. It's frustrating when I have a guy I'm trying to get playing time at 1st base so he can change positions and then, when the guy he's platooning with can't start, ABE starts my backup cathcer at 1b, instead of the guy I'm trying to transition there.
