Exchange Your Unwanted Team
April 02, 2006 at 11:34PM View BBCode
We're starting this thread to help owners try to exchange private/speed league, non-subscription based teams (dynasty leagues, OCL, RonSL, and MBL are not applicable) they no longer wish to keep. Many owners may want to leave a league for a variety of reasons, but may be interested in having a team in another league.
If your considering leaving a league or a team, and might be interested in joining another league, please post your team as available here.
It would be helpful if you could provide as much information as possible... a link to your team, and perhaps the league rules also so people know how many games per day they play and what kinda rules the league has. If you know about how much more time your league has until renewal that would help also.
If you see a team your interested in, contact the owner with the offer of the team your looking to move.

Baltimore Orioles in Jimmy Foxx is up for exchange. Not exactly what I expected. Looking for a very active League, posting and trade wise.
Thanx

Tyson,
I think you have some owner names backwards.
DW_Geoff is the owner of the CSL KC team, not res98.

Team available in Ed Delahanty League
August 07, 2006 at 02:20PM View BBCode
This is a give away.
This is a good league with lots posts and trading. I'm just over extended time wise.
The Milwaukee Rangers is in a rebuilding mode. Will have first draft pick plus another #1 in the 1963 amateur draft. Team has lots of good young talent but as a result is struggling. At the time of this post the league is playing in the month of July 1962.
Attached is a PDF of the team's Depth Chart
[color=green]Ed Delahanty League - OFFICIAL RULES
6 games per day
Intial draft settings
- Youth cap not to exceed 15--the rest is up to you
Trading Draft Picks Allowed up to 3 seasons in advance
Trading CP Points NOT Allowed
August 31 trade deadline - for players appearing on playoff rosters, trades can still be made after Aug 31 but no player traded after that date may appear on a playoff roster.
Roster Changes Not Allowed During Playoffs
--unless you are moving players to and from the DL
Name Changes Allowed but DO NOT USE RIDICULOUS NAMES OR REAL PLAYER NAMES, for example: no Star Wars characters, planets, movie stars, rap stars, cartoon characters etc. Please keep it normal. If you want to name your players after friends that is fine, as long as their names are not Fred Flintstone, Barny Rubble, etc.
A player may only have his name changed 1 time from his original name. It gets too confusing when a name changes year to year
What is "offensive" will be determined solely by the commish, and will include wording which is profane, disparaging, racist, or obscene.
At least 2 catchers at all times on the Major League Roster, the only exception is an injured C on the DL. It is highly suggested in the sense of keeping this "Major League" that a player who is not listed as at least 70% at the catcher position not be used in the batting order as a catcher. You will likely never see Derek Jeter or Chipper Jones catching in real life
Team name change- Only through new ownership
Only trades which are clearly examples of collusion will be reversed
An owner will be replaced, without refund, after 2 weeks of inactivity. The inactivity date is the more recent of the "Last Active" date on the League Info page and the most recently dated post by the owner in the Ed Delahanty league forum
-- Unless otherwise notifying the league commish
When an inactive owner is replaced, the new owner pays $55 and controls the team for the remainder of the 10-month period plus the following 10-month period
This describes penalties that will be applied for breaking rules
loss of draft picks (via waiving after the draft)
ejection from the league (for repeated disregard of league rules)[/color]

To give someone like you a shot at joining a good league for a change. You must be growing weary of the bad leagues by now? The Detroit franchise will likely be the best you have ever owned.

I am giving away this team because i don't like the 3 game a day format but it is a good team in a good league.
http://www.simdynasty.com/depth.jsp?teamid=43786
they are the reigning NL champs and should win 2 or 3 WS rings before needing to be rebuilt.
i dont know how to give away a team but let me know

Probably true. Not sure how you can give it away without that. The problem is that people don't value things what they don't pay for.
