Meathead
Redlegs
This is a team of NO POP. Not from their hitters nor their pitchers. But, their hitters will run you ragged. Their pitching staff has great command of their pitches and couple that with their great defense and it could yield few runs for the opposition.
Phillies
Did you hear that? Is there a storm coming? No. What you hear is the thunder from the Phillies' bats. This team does not believe in mucking up the basepaths with runners. The question here is, will this team pass by as quickly as a storm. Age makes this team primed for a quick flash and bang and then we might see them disappear over the horizon.
Red Birds
Unlike the Phillies, these guys put the ball in play. They will put pressure on your defense, so you better bring your gloves. Sadler is a lock to be in on the MVP race. Their pitching is only average and they'll need timely hitting to get those runners home, but they should be a force to recon with.
Cubbies
This team will take it's lumps. The pitching staff is mediocre and will get hammered from time to time. So why is the owner smiling? Because teams don't get much younger and with raw talent like these guys. The the manager can keep his job for the next few years, he's liable to cash in after that.
Borg
A team with a solid lineup and a decent pitching staff. If he gets some support, Schoendienst will be looking to chase the MVP trophy. A solid team that will be a force.
Bees
This is a young team that will only get better. But don't count them out now or they will beat you. The stud of this team is their young flamethower Tim Grogan. He will be looking at several Cy Youngs before his time is over.
Black Cats
Another team with serious pop here. Not the least of which is MVP candidate Quilvio Richard. There are concerns here though. The team is light in the pitching department and has several health issues with key position players. When healthy, they will put a hurt on you though.
Meatheads
Another young team with a young dominating pitching staff led by Cy Young candidate Warren Spahn. This team will need that staff to dominate in order to win with it's mediocre bats. Atleast until the talent matures a bit.
