So this has been fixed, plus I've put some safe guards in just in case I miss something like it. If things go okay this weekend, we'll go six games a day starting on Monday. Depending on what I do work on next, I may adjust the rate of games to compensate (ie if I do more work on the off season, I'll speed it up).
I think I'm done making changes to the game code, at least I think I am. But you guys will be the final judges of that. Look for more of those peculiarities in the upcoming games.
Finally, I was thinking that I might have to start the beta league over at some point, and start everyone from scratch. I don't have any immediate plans to do this, but if I start doing more work on the player creation, initial draft, etc. I will most likely set the league back to 1950 to test some of that stuff out. So just a warning, because I'm sure you guys are as attached to your teams as I am!!!!!!

I'm going to resume the games tomorrow, but with a limited schedule. We'll do the 12 noon game, 4:30PM game, and 7PM games for tomorrow. I ran 4 games tonight doing some testing and everything seems to be fine. The other day the outs were going to 4 which was throwing the program into an infinite loop (at which time my ISP basically locked out my accout and site, oops!).So this has been fixed, plus I've put some safe guards in just in case I miss something like it. You're right, though. This is testing, and if you make changes to the player creation module and the initial draft it makes sense to start from scratch. Plus, with the changes you've made to balance hitting and pitching, it's difficult to compare a player's performance over time. This limits our ability to assess the effectiveness of player improvement or decline due to aging. For example, I've had hitters whose performance has declined a fair amount over the three seasons, but I can't tell if it's due to deteriorating ability or changes made to the game logic in order to balance hitting and pitching.
