Cubs 'dwindling" playoff hopes

The Columbus Dispatch reported that, after loosing Kerry wood for the season, their playoff hopes are now dwindeling. What I found amusing is they have the same record as the Reds, and they have been out of it since late May or early June. i'd guess the odds of Cincinnati getting in are far greater than that of the Cubbies. Atleast the Reds have been playing well recently. And neither are going to the post season.

The Cubs haven't been out of it since May. Not even close. They probably still had a chance in July, when they were in basically the same if not a better situation as Houston was last year. Of course they have no chance in hell anymore.Pages: 1
