Some say it is a weakness against the dipping ball, which Brother Oliva, John LaRocca and Larry Habenicht compensated on. But it may have been the have created by a certain ecentric Italian manager. He is still the best SS in the game, but he could have been so much more.
On the other hand is the rise and rise of oneof the most entertaining and vivid hitters of the modern age, Carlos Beltran. Although he started slowly, he caught up with Clyde Patten and soon left the competition for dead, as the finest CF hitter in the game. Philadelphia will be feared as long as Beltran still plays, and many (Including a certain Italian mnager) are hoping he gets injured soon. :cool2:

George Burnside had enough potnetial to be the greatest player of all time. Sadly, though, he did not become the player he could have been. But Manny Ramirez says he will help pick the team up and bring Steve Carlton out of retirement to help the pen.
Now its a bit tougher.

That sux ass. You lose Vince on the edge of the playoff series? Still, you got the batting depth with Carlos, Cliff, Matt, Nomar (Sigh), and you still got Steve Kelly and Mark Mulder.Clyde Patten really snuck up on Carlos to win the MVP, amazing.

I just adjusted my Pitching Rotation to keep the better pitchers on the mound.
I want to win more then worry about the awards in single leagues.

Being a Philadelphia Guy--I did my Andy Reid thinking and wanted as many guys fresh and try to keep more injuries from happening.I just adjusted my Pitching Rotation to keep the better pitchers on the mound.
I want to win more then worry about the awards in single leagues.
BUT I did put Carlos in for last game--lol
