Basically, the bug goes like this. If you offer a trade where you are also designating a player for assignment, then you go ahead and designate that player for assignment before the other owner accepts the trade, the other owner will get this error message. I have fixed this.
Also, I fixed another potential issue. If you make a trade offer to someone, and offer to trade them a player, then designate that player for assignment, the offer will be automatically cancelled. This is because the trade desk cannot guarantee that this player will still be your property when the trade is accepted.

Also, is there any chance of having a warning message before you designate any player who you have out there in a trade proposal?
Finally, when a trade gets automatically cancelled for a reason other than another trade going through, can you make it so ABE emails the originating team? I've had a couple trades canceled in the past inexplicably. And I never realized they got canceled because I didn't check the trade desk. Another viable solution would be to put a flag/banner similar to the "trade offer received" one that lets you know you have trade offers pending still. If you see the flag has gone away then you know the trade was either canceled, accepted, or declined and you should check and see what happened.
It's just that in some leagues I've had trades sit for over a week and then get declined and occasionally accepted. For whatever reason. Either the owner is awol or they are thinking about it or it is pending another deal going through.
