doesn't have 2500 hits, 1500 RBI or several league leading stats. While all star and postseason is high there are better players in the HOF.

There should not be statistical milestones to be included on HOF
Ballot. By that criteria Sandy Koufax would not be in MLB HOF.
Let voters decide,

IF I include all players with 10 year service on the ballot you will hear cries of why are there so many crap players on here.
I can change to a nomination system but I think only you and Itzaboy may be the only ones to nominate.

This league can't even get enough votes for Larry Baney http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=11301628 who is slightly more decorated with awards and has a similar post-season resume while playing 2B, so I don't see how Wright would make the cut.
The players in real HOF that had short careers were so dominant or well above average for a 10-yr period, that it got them enough votes to offset the counting stats (e.g. Kirby Puckett).
In real life "Sebastian Wright" would be compared to guys like Dale Murphy and Fred McGriff who had better counting stats and longevity and still couldn't get enough support to make the real HOF.
Just my 2 cents.

It should be extremely difficult to get in the HOF or it would just be watered down. Good players shouldn't get in. Wright had some HOF caliber seasons, but his total body of work just wasn't good enough.
Also, when it comes to accolades, (not speaking about any specific player) some players can sneak onto all-star teams throughout their career because of subpar competition at the position. MVP's are different of course. And I don't know if it's possible, but maybe adding a player's post-season stats could help separate players who are close to getting in.

Compare Wright's 5 best seasons vs Barney's.
And we need to stop using MLB milestone HOF criteria.
The way the SIM is setup, great players peak for 5-7 seasons
If a player had an outstanding career, you look at their 5 best
season and then ask yourself is this player HOF caliber.
Wright had multiple MVP caliber seasons.
Barney did not!
And before anyone claims Im arguing
for Wright because he played for NY. Then,
you're foolish because if Wright goes into
HOF, it will be with a KC hat!;)

I agree that HR's are Light, but there are 11 active players with more homeruns than Wright. Most all other numbers for a hitter are realistic.
I can use Mike Boggs and Mark Prim as examples because they were my guys. Both have 3000 hits between the 2 leagues they played in, and both were rookies at OS age 23. The best pitchers can win 20+ games so 300 wins should be obtainable. I think when you consider that this league is only 37 years into existence, most of the numbers are fairly comparable to the real deal.
Most of you guys are in multiple leagues, so you have a larger sample size than me. What are your thoughts on the numbers?

And just to be clear, I don't think a player has to reach those elite stats to get in. I just felt Wright and Baney didn't get enough overall. *And the league is only 17 years in.
