Some teams that are not owned have had to waiver excellent players. These players are now on the waiver wire. Should we create a moratorium on picking them up?September 02, 2017 at 10:04PM View BBCode
There is merit in what you are doing, but we will never get all to agree. I have seen it in many baseball leagues: The majority agree not to take players and one or two take them all.September 03, 2017 at 04:09AM View BBCode
This is ridiculous. We already have enough issues keeping teams in this league and then this crap happens. There are days you just can't check things for whatever reason. For the Sim Bowl Champ to turn around and get the players that they did.....I don't even know what to say besides this league becomes less appealing by the day. I have never quit a league, but that's not even remotely fun. No one's fault. Just not fun.September 03, 2017 at 11:17PM View BBCode
Absolutely valid, but what do you do? I see St. Louis was online at the time who is an opponent in my division. He picked before me so I received players 2nd to him.September 04, 2017 at 01:01AM View BBCode
Nothing against you for picking them. Like you have said, if you didn't pick them someone else would.September 04, 2017 at 10:49PM View BBCode
Why can't the better players if waived by an unowned team when sent to the waiver wire have by skill level starting at perhaps B+ and .above be flagged or frozen. We could then have a vote by the teams with owners of who to assign the waived player. Just a suggestion. It still does not right the wrong situation that has already occurredSeptember 04, 2017 at 10:49PM View BBCode

What is the wrong situation that already occurred? When teams go above the cap and are unowned they waive bench players and has always been the case. Everyone is aware of when rosters have to be cut to 53 and if some one cannot be online to see who is cut that is not a wrong situation. The same thing happened 2 years in a row in the CLFL, we are both in, when Birmingham was a dead team above the cap. It was no secret what will happen; bench players were waived until the team was below the cap. In all these cases the players were put on waivers for 24 hours before they could be claimed. It is hardly appropriate to call it a wrong when we all know the cutdown date and have 24 hours to claim waived players. It is not up to me to check your schedule to see if you have time to make a claim. be reasonable.September 04, 2017 at 11:32PM View BBCode

Very interesting discussion. I am proof of the HumYai theory as I am in and out online for a few minutes and sometimes don't see all transactions. The two solutions that HumYai suggested seem equitable and doable (code wise).September 15, 2017 at 07:29AM View BBCode
