2192 Wrap Up

Tigersrback took the SYL crown for regular season wins with 112 this season. It was the most the franchise has won since 2176 when they won 117 in the regular season and the World Series to boot. Despite making the postseason in five out of the last six years, this was the team's first time back to the Big Dance since winning it all in 2187. They were, however, only able to come up with one win in their final series of the year.
Our runner-up for total wins this year was Connorf's Arizona Heatwave with 109 marks in the W column. It's the most for Arizona in about a decade. This was their third straight playoff year, and they were in the World Series both years prior to this. Looks like they'll be in the hunt for at least a couple more, as well.
Over in the Junior Circuit, Baltimore made the postseason for the third straight year, winning 103 games and that's the most for musial55 since 2171! They won the World Series this year in five games and it was their first win since 2173, and 11th for the franchise overall. Congratulations!
Bringing up the year in the Wins category were the Los Angeles Twins, as both southern California teams made the playoffs this year. It was 2177 the last time that happened. The Twins were the only "new" team in the playoff picture this year, returning after an eight year absence. Baltimore knocked them out of the ALCS in five games, as well.
