Am new to this league and plan on building a contender over time. Looking at the facts shows the following; not sure how each time got to where they are, but clearly some teams have significantly increased numbers of talent (both top 16 and top 5 overall) than others. Having just taken over a perennial bottom dweller, the work is cut out for the Texas Bandits.Team - Players drafted in top 16 (1st round) - Players drafted in Top 5

Read the posts for the last 25 seasons and you will get an idea of how these differences in talent distributions have come to be. But in a somewhat tongue and cheek caveat, be careful of outing owners who have been contributing to the status quo and never ever try to discuss what is fair and equitable in this league. You could be sanctioned or worse yet become a pariah. Again, this is only my opinion and I truly believe everyone should form their own perspective of what constitutes an even playing field.
