Following up on my management of abandoned teams

All,
I want to clarify what I'm doing with respect to abandoned teams and also ask a question to see what everyone would be open to.
Roles I am performing for abandoned teams:
- Adjusting CPs
- Making adjustments to the major league roster to try to field a competitive team, including promoting ML ready minor leaguers, cutting aging veterans, and acquiring free agents from waiver wires to ensure mentoring is high enough
- Adjusting lineups and rotations to be competitive
- Making adjustments for injuries as needed
Things I am NOT doing:
- Accepting or initiating trades
- Adjusting draft preferences after the draft is release. I have however tried to tweak the max number of draftees at one position. If I didn't do this Detroit would draft all pitchers
Now I have a bit of an issue though. Some of the teams, notably Pittsburgh and Miami have minor leaguers that should be in the bigs but are blocked at the position. If I were the owner of the team I would try to move the Major leaguers who are blocking them.
As it currently stands if I promote these ML ready minor leaguers I'm either going to have to DFA valuable contributors or bench players who can be useful.
I'd love to be able to make some trades...but I think that would be a conflict of interest. Love to hear any thoughts on this from the other owners.
Perhaps we could make consensus trades among the abandoned teams?
For example, Miami has several viable third basemen. If another of the abandoned teams does not, perhaps I could propose a trade and see if any owners object.
Thoughts?

will think about it, but totally trust your judgement

I think trading between abandoned teams is acceptable, solely for the purpose of opening space for blocked players. (ie, don't try to build a team to 'win it now')
Post the first trade before executing it, see what the response is, and if there's no complaints about your valuation of players, then hopefully you can have free rein to make trades.

I'm in favor of anything that will make those teams tempting for potential new owners.

I want this league to strive and making these teams viable is one way to help that. I like Minn's idea of posting trade ideas.
