The Detroit Cannibals have just set the single season win record with #128, surpassing the fantastic 1954 New York Giants who win 127 games that year.Congratulations!!

thank you very much for your sentiments. Winning a lot of games is not necessarily exciting. Frankly, it's kind of boring. Most of my success has been because so many American League teams are rebuilding. My luck has been that my team was going one way and most everybody else was going the other. The smart money is on Cleveland. Great pitching almost always wins. The National League looks like a lot more fun: 4 teams still in contention for the playoffs and a much tighter race.
