Dazzling defense in the 5th by Chicago's CF John Hines delayed the momentous hit when he laid out to steal what could have been the first of 2 triples by Huntz...it seems like Hines just didn't want Huntz to ketchup to that 3000 mark (weak, but it's still early).
Huntz finished 3-6 and a jack away from the cycle.
Next check box, 1900 rib-eyes...
