A master topic for random musings and comments on the 2010 season that do not merit their own thread

Man, seeing Nakamura and Levesque today makes me feel like a much better scout than coach. I've got two or three years of having no teeth to look forward to, it's going to be a long arduous journey

Hang in there lumina, you know Walker will work out. Now just find the pieces to make him a Sim Bowl champion. And thanks for training up Levesque as he does like to play in the Norfolk Dome.

Some great QB play in Week 1. Average passer rating was 85.1 (only 73.9 last season). New trend or teams still figuring out their kinks early on?

Yeah but this season is ug-ly. I don't have my own draft picks so I'm not purposefully tanking, but there's just not much I can do lol. Remarkably, Walker is still playing decently among the doo-doo which probably bodes well for what he'll be able to do when I have players again.

As for Levesque, he was a fun project. When I saw his IC rates and B- accuracy I honestly drafted him just to see if I could do it. I had no idea I'd be able to grow him from B- accuracy to A accuracy... my only regret was not holding out for a second round pick for him lol, I only broke even with a third

Is this some kind of record? LA squeaked out a win vs DET with the WR SHOTA having this day:

28 Targets, 18 Catches and 145 yards, with 8 First Downs. No TDs.

Unfortunately it wore him out so much he is missing the next 2 games.

That is the biggest bummer a guy plays above the rest one game and then has to watch the action for the next 1 or 2 games. Noticed this mostly on receivers.

Agreed, it's a terrible bug. No WR is sitting out just because a lot of balls were thrown his way the week before.

The frustrating thing is that whether the ball is thrown to him or not he is still running the same.

You do not get more tired by catching a pass!

Detroit finds itself closing on the end of its usual sh*tshow standard, but there was no way the team could win without a viable QB. Color me stunned. Finally went ahead and traded for a journeyman in Jeff Hayden, who promptly came in and delivered a 39-26-264 and 2 TDs line, albeit vs a tanking Denver team.

DET's ascendant Offensive star is RB Seymour, who averages 101 ypg. Seymour is 23 and can run, catch, and never leaves the field.

Defensively, DET's FS Curley has managed to show some skills, with 5 passes defended, 2 INTs.

After yesterdays goof ball geos ballistic gaff of North Korean paper missle proportions where we forgot to remove the 4th qtr blitz and go 100% pass cover Today is just as hard as Peter Rabbit haha faces his Philladelphan loving bro. So lean and so mean.

Our game yesterday was a rollercoaster. I think we both nailed each other multiple times on long screens against the blitz in the last 2 minutes.

indeed forgot to stop the advanced blitz... lol. and go m2m on ya.... i'll do what I can to help you get 15-1 lol.

Dang we have the best here.

I learned a year ago to enjoy winning and eating crow like yesterday the same. Well done.

Great game no doubt. And believe me, I hate playing your team as well. There's no chance stopping your offense so just have to hope I can keep up. I think we had like 950 yards of offense in our game, which is insane for this sim (at least since the code tweak that overly-nerfed QB deep balls, but that's a conversation for another thread).

Week 16 will be another battle, for sure.

THIS LOUSY MOTHERF*CKER.

12-06-2009 John Seymour of the Detroit Tiger Ants is injured with a lower leg fracture and is expected to be out for approximately 51 days.
