Injuries are one area I think the sim just does not get, but I think there are far too few injuries (even in max injury leagues), especially to pitchers.
We can have starters go over 300 innings a season for their entire career, relievers appear in 135 games out of 162 (83% of them), relievers can also pitch well over 200 innings season after season, and F health batter can appear in all 162 games.
So I do not mind those pinch hitter injuries, maybe they should warm up a bit more and do some more stretching hehe...

Meanwhile, my Brooklyn team in the JRL has had 5 injuries of 19 days or more... and currently features 3/8 of the starting lineup on the DL, as well as the primary setup man. All within the first 35 days of the season. Oh, and each player on the DL has B health or better. For the third year in a row, 2 players were injured on opening day. We are just 3 years removed from 17 different players on that same team hitting the DL, and an accumulated 530+ days of injury. Once again, nearly all of the injuries were to players with B or higher health. This is not an isolated incident either, as nearly every league has a team hit this hard with injuries virtually every season.
So don't tell me there aren't enough injuries. The health and injury system of SD is laughably terrible. 5 teams may have a combined total of 20 injuries for the entire year... when 1 team has nearly that many all by itself.
Oh, and no.... a player with F health cannot play in all 162 games. Not even as a backup with just 1 PH appearance per game. Their health settings force them to take a break every 6th game in a row, regardless if they racked up 36 PA or 6 PA.

I guess we all are entitled to our own opinions (I was not directing anything at you DeepThreat), I have played in all three injury systems, and the one with max injuries still has less than half the injury days of MLB, without having things like career ending injuries, Tommy John surgeries, or early declines (I am sure they would not be popular with the masses but I would be for them).
My problem is that the injury system allows for unrealistic usage and stats, it is easy to game the game (especially in system 2 injuries) and do things like abuse relievers to convert to starters (I have converted D+ endurance ones to starters), and play F health guys in 162 games (here is one example I did here in the VPL):

Here is one in the Cool Papa Bell that I got into 163 games and 83 big league IC's (2001 season):

And a D- health catcher in the CPBL that I got into 161 games (2006 season):

Sure injuries happen to some teams more than others, that is part of the randomness of the sim (and real life), it stinks when it happens to you (I had 15 for 416 games last season in the system 2 AOL and missed the playoffs by 1 game), if you play the game long enough and in many leagues it will happen just based on the statistical chance.
The only one that that ABE is plotting against is Bundy, the rest of us are safe...
