Why is it that while my QB's accuracy and execution have gone up his completion percentage has gone down. Also td to int has been worse.http://football.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=3943228

this game isn't just as simple as "my player has improved so he has to have more success". the other teams are trying to win too. the major difference between his year last season and the ones prior is the cratering of his 20-39 completion % and the bump in sacks allowed. whether the cause of those things is slower WRs not getting open downfield, a weaker OL not being as good in protection, a poor EXE OL getting blitzed more, some combination of those or something else altogether I don't have enough information to guess.

that's an impossible question to answer from the information given. the WRs he's throwing to (or their skills) may have changed, the defences he's playing may have changed, the strategies employed against him may be different, the offence he's running may have changed, the weather he's playing in may be different, the OL protecting him may be changed. there are a lot of moving parts to the equation.this game isn't just as simple as "my player has improved so he has to have more success". the other teams are trying to win too. the major difference between his year last season and the ones prior is the cratering of his 20-39 completion % and the bump in sacks allowed. whether the cause of those things is slower WRs not getting open downfield, a weaker OL not being as good in protection, a poor EXE OL getting blitzed more, some combination of those or something else altogether I don't have enough information to guess.

He's had the same WR's which i would say are good WR's, the same Oline which again i think is good, tho i did start a rookie LT this season, and pretty much the same type of plays. If anything there was more short and medium pass plays. Granted i do not know about what defensive strategies he has faced might have changed. Seems the whole league has increased blitzing which i could see have an effect.Pages: 1
