But I have an interesting idea.
The TDFLis currently in the same boat as the VLFL. Both leagues have a lot of long term owners. If we can get some owners from these two leagues to take a team in the other league, it will provide an infusion of experienced talent.
So this is what I am offering:
For those owners in this league who do not already have a team in the Tony Dorsetti Football League who want to take on another team, I will give you a free month in that league for every six seasons you've had your team in this league. (This both rewards the long term owners and makes sure you don't all expire at the same time). The minimum offer is 3 free months. So that works out to:
sjpode: 5 months ACCEPTED
rampage53: 3 months
Ironmen: 3 months
jasgreen: 5 months
polpol: 6 months
That leaves Reigny and ChuckMuncie (ACCEPTED) who have teams in both leagues. Since you can't take advantage of this, I'll let you take a team in the MAFL, EDFL, or BSFL:
Reigny: 3 months
ChuckMuncie: 5 months
If you are interested in accepting this offer, please let me know in this thread which team in the TDFL you want, first come first served, and I'll get you set up with your new team.
Note that this is not intended to encourage you to cancel your team in this league to play the free time in the other league; if you decide to leave this league within 3 months, I reserve the right to cancel the free time offered in the other league. (Otherwise we're just swapping the problem.)

In the football leagues, we don't have the ability to do a merge. What we do have theoretically is the ability to contract leagues to 8 teams; however I need to set that function in Beta first.But I have an interesting idea.
