whats the point in putting b- overall 28 year olds on the trade block. no ones going to offer a trade for those guys. it may make sense to put a 34 yr old star entering decline to let people know that he could be moved, but there is never 28 yr old guys that are borderline decent players being blocked by a real star on the trade block. they move all the time, but because so many bad players are put on the trade block the trade block is viewed as the place to look at the garbage that's going to be on the waiver wire next aprilJanuary 30, 2017 at 01:20AM View BBCode
I think a lot of owners (new usually) don't understand development enough to realize these players are junk. Or they think it doesn't hurt to stick them on the block...maybe they get something in return at least.February 03, 2017 at 06:39AM View BBCode
I'm in 4 leagues and I don't even pay attention anymore to the trade block in any of them because they're filled with the crap you're talking about. So it's not just here.February 03, 2017 at 06:48PM View BBCode
I agree, unfortunately because of this everyone think that all players on the list are crap. It compounds things further when you do have a good player on the block you often get low ball offers because of the perception that players on the block have little value to the owner that put them there.February 04, 2017 at 10:05PM View BBCode
I've found you're better off just looking for what you like on each team and making offers. Nearly every offer I've ever received via the desk has been junk.Pages: 1
