Fora C, Hands don't matter?

Bo, You said this. Really?
Maybe I am mixed up as far as Centers go?

In another league, a championship owner put hist Strongest OL there.

I think Hands are supposed to matter at some point but the game never implemented fumbled snaps (by the Center) and there is never an "errant snap" in the shotgun. It makes sense to put a strong lineman there. If you have no good centers but 3 good guards, it definitely makes sense to put your lowest agility guard into the C spot since, as far as I can tell, the only stats that matter are blocking skills and strength (and execution, if you care about that).

Begining to wonder. I've used my D- Hands Grettle with no seen problems in the offence. Even though the game guide calls the snap a backwords pass.

Next game I should be starting Mike Bishop with F hands just out of curiosity. I would rather protect the QB with pass cover as well.

It's twue, it's twue. I don't think hands work anywhere except holder and hands team...and maybe not there either.

Break tackle is also a mirage. Back when there was salary troubles with the DE's I suggested that if break tackle were made into shed block for defence; a high BT would justify a high salary for DE. I was told that BT was not yet used. I suspect an added variable makes the computations ponderous.

Hands are misleading in the hold for kickers value. You have to look deeper at the individual values of H for the Fg Unit where I have seen an A+ hands player have Like B holding skills. Usualy a good staring Qb or punter will have the red letter H.

this guy just as the holder on the FG unit is gold

Ed Qb

So what Hands and hold match up more on the Qb. After 100+K kicking practices I saw the difference in perfect vs good vs poor holds when Bruno was kicking with ease.

HT - hands team is for them onside kicks the higher values In the small sample of recoveries I've seen bot failed and success Red letter seems to more often prevail.

I've done alright with centers with lacking strength, but to be honest I've never messed around with the prospect of a center with no hands. I always figured it might fall into some kind of calculation in the programming I may not be able to discern even if it doesn't present the prospect of errant snaps. There are no tackling stats, for example, but whenever a play ends, one can only assume someone tackled them and that their stats helped that happen. It's one of those things I can't prove, but I'd rather not find out.

I have even managed to make it by with centers with no run or pass blocking but with strength and hands so long as they had execution and the rest of the line was strong. This is a case where having offensive line stats would really help.

Hands do matter for the holder. Better the hands the more good holds you will get, worse hands will get more poor holds. Execution may play a slight roll or just dumb luck cause when I was testing it some times a player with B hands but A execution would have more good hold then a player with A hands and B execution. Only sometimes.

I do know when I had a holder that had A+ hands and A+ execution I would have less then 8 bad hold per 150 kicks every time.

Also noticed that some TE do a great job at holding. They have to have a high enough rating to even show up on depth charts for holders.

But I have never seen a bad snap.

For a place holder make sure you look at his H rating in the ss fs cb column. Hands alone can deceive.
