Journeyman SP Jim Reese, a career 45-61, 4:30 ERA, 1.40 WHIP pitcher - and in the the midst of a dismal 5-13 season - had the game of his life this week pitching a 1 hit shutout of the New York O Nation. The only hit - and only baserunner Reese allowed was an infield single to leadoff batter Hankins in the first inning. Hankins was subsequently erased in a double play and Reese went on to face the minimum 27 batters.October 29, 2016 at 12:07PM View BBCode
Nice showing. I love seeing the average guys have that occasional stellar game.Pages: 1
