Matt Casanova, traded from CHN to Philadelphia in 2007. Languishing in the minors at that time, Casanova welcomed the trade.July 09, 2016 at 05:57PM View BBCode
Casanova performed well with the Ramblers after coming over from Chicago. He was the everyday leadoff hitter for several years, one year leading the TRL in 3Bs, and winning a Gold Glove. In succeeding years, his production begin to drift, and became a platoon player. As his production continued to drop, his role became that of a pinch runner/defensive replacement. He then became a victim of the "numbers game", as the Ramblers acquired younger players with better production. The Ramblers had no choice but to DFA Casanova, and are happy to see him doing well.....EXCEPT not in this series! Now with the series tied at 2 games apiece, the Ramblers are hoping to contain the powerful Scotties' offense, including Casanova!July 09, 2016 at 05:58PM View BBCode

5 homeruns and 14 rbi for LCS MVP Antonello. What a studly performance!July 10, 2016 at 12:24AM View BBCode
Yes, Antonello was certainly the MVP. The Ramblers picked up just their 5th World Series berth, and will be seeking their 1st TRL crown when they meet Cleveland in the 2018 World Series. In addition to Antonello's 5 HR & 14 RBI (1.115 slugging), veteran Tim Riske hit .636, and Jim Essian added 3 HR. Oscar Graves saved 3 games without allowing a hit, and middle relievers Jocko Kohlmeier and Leo Moore added 9 innings of scoreless relief.Pages: 1
