The normally blisteringly hot bats of the Montreal Expos were silenced by the near perfect pitching of 38 year old Tom Faul in this morning's action. This performance was clearly the capstone of a not particularly brilliant career. Faul allowed only a seventh inning base on balls to mar an otherwise perfect game in a 1-0 win for the Vultures, the 95th of Faul's career. Near exhaustion, Faul was assisted in the ninth inning by 33 year old Gary Bevens, who continued and concluded the pitching masterpiece earning his sixth save of the season.Pages: 1
