If you did not notice the winning pitcher against Koppe that went 7 giving up 4 hits and 1 run was a BP pitcher.

I know my line-up sucks but seriously what gives. There is no way, this game is unrealistic.

Actually, I think this is what makes it more realistic than most games. A bad pitcher will have a good game once in awhile.........happens all the time in MLB. Chances are increased against bad hitting teams. Best pitcher/team is not always going to get the win. That is baseball and very realistic.

I guess it's the same way that this guy:

does this:

against the team batting a collective .217
I try to look at it like Cleveland would all these years...most of the time Chicago had no business beating them, but we did (not in any meaningful playoff games, but I digress).
Jamie Moyer, with his C- velocity and A+ control (the real 50 year old former MLB dude) out-dueled some great pitchers over his career. Sometimes that stuff happens.
I also think that for some reason younger pitchers tend to get smacked around early on in this sym league. Not so sure why, but I've seen out in the past.
The Kopper will be killing it before long. His ratings are too good not to.

It just seems like every time he goes out he faces an inferior pitcher and he loses.
this guy beat with a line-up that had one A- and 2 B- and 2 B's starting.

Your best pitcher should not be 2-7. when your team is only 5 games under .500 at the 51 game mark.
That is the other part of this game that is missing though. Jaime Moyer had 4 pitches that all came off his hand the same but all moved differently. When he had command of all 4 pitches he was magic.
Developing pitches could expand pitchers, which would make them more detailed and better.
Same thing with Greg Maddux, he did not throw 95 but he had multiple pitches with perfect control and deception.
The great, and I mean truly great power pitchers have a second pitch. Doc Gooden in 85 had the curve ball and a fastball with movement. Watch Kershaw when he is on he has 3 pitches.
Hell Watch Syndergaard. He has a 99 FB then follows it up with a 93 MPH slider, nad when they are both on he is masterful.
He is getting hammered when he is tired. So maybe I change the parameters and lose a couple IP, but then he loses IC chances that he really needs.
Just frustrating to watch. I was thinking he was a rookie of the year candidate, but not after this start.

As a Marlin's fan (yeah, I'm the one), I love this video. As a fan of Moyer, it's tough to watch.
I'll title it "when the magic runs out"

Moyer is a Super Duper person...He is a Philly native and he runs a huge Charity in Both Philly and Seattle.
He is a true good guy in sports. Not Russell Wilson good, but close.
