Generational QB 1st pick

May 29, 2016 at 10:27PM View BBCode

I'm willing to move the first overall pick for multiple 1st and second picks. Steep price but he will undoubtedly be the best QB in the league and by a good margin. 90 passing stats and only 21. Chance to be A+ QB with high potential.

I am so sick of last place teams trading away their 1st round picks to the top performers in the league for pittance.

Would you prefer Dick Battles?

This Reigny character moves from league to league making bad trades and running down teams, then moving on. If you think that making unfair trades with an owner like this is good strategy then I wonder if you like to offer young children candy to get in your car.

A first for a first several years in advance; isn't a bad trade. Could have gotten a new owner; could have been a censored class.. less qq and more posting of playoff pictures.... now onto Dick Battles.

A first from an owner picking last in the draft for a first from an owner picking first in the draft 2 years down the line is definitely a bad trade and if you can't admit that then you are in denial!

I've seen this tactic in numerous leagues and the owners who take these ill advised trades inevitably end up on the wrong side of the deal.

yet we see it happen every year in the nfl.... The power to win now posses more value that winning down the road.... again your basing your opinion on hindsight.... A new owner could have easily taken over; the draft could have been garbage. Also it was SJ pick; whom said he was rebuilding.....

Huh? My pick was #1 overall? Man, 8-8 ain't what it used to be.

...wait....nvm...I get what you were referring to now, the swapped #1's from the prior year.

I swear I am trying to rebuild, look at all the talent I've traded away. That said, I'm not gonna tank either.

I can't even understand what your saying with these qq and SJ references. What exactly are you trying to say?(in complete sentences if you wouldn't mind)

And Reigny hasn't checked on in a week... so yeah he's gone off on his leave of absence
Von's leaving
And we still haven't found a replacement for DrhOOO for Cleveland who hasn't logged on since Early FEBRUARY

Looks like 3 teams that will be on Auto

Meanwhile, the best continue to get the better players early in the draft while the catch ups hope for some tossed scraps.

The one thing that happens time and again is that there are owners who can stomach making sketchy moves even if it is with obviously inferior owners who can't even decide if they want to be in the league much less making wise choices involving trades and what is in their own best interest. The pukes that think that taking advantage of these poor slobs and playing the game that way are what makes this an inferior site and takes the pleasure right out of the equation. Is this a censored class.. less qq or reason to get a new owner since you can't call call a puke a puke?

Here are the trades that have been made with Seattle, they show a disturbing trend of trading away his draft picks and then trading away the picks that he traded for so that he never gets to use his draft picks at all. he has been in the league since 2010 and has traded his first round pick every year. The trade for Ledyard also saw him get a player that retired the next year while giving up multiple high round draft picks. The exploitation of owners like this is despicable and cowardly.

Chuck, you're letting things get the most of you. Everyone here knows about Reigny's exploits, reason should have a password to join. But about Ledyard, he (Reigny) made the offer after I had put Ledyard on the market.....I did not contact him. That's his fault

Trade has been completed between the Shreveport Sharks and the Seattle Sea Wolves. The Seattle Sea Wolves receive Draft Pick - 2014 Round 1 (SHR) from the Shreveport Sharks in exchange for Draft Pick - 2012 Round 1 (SEA). - Oh wow!!! Because I don't have a 1st round pick this upcoming draft while Reigny has 2 in the first round (if he shows back up)....the world is coming to an end.

And this trade has been completed between the Seattle Sea Wolves and the Shreveport Sharks. The Shreveport Sharks receive Draft Pick - 2015 Round 1 (SEA), Draft Pick - 2014 Round 4 (SEA), Draft Pick - 2014 Round 2 (SEA) from the Seattle Sea Wolves in exchange for Carl Burton (WR). Once again I was contacted by the owner who initiated the trade via what I put on the trade block. Burton was the #9 overall pick and the 3rd best rated player just the previous draft. He only played 10 games with me in his rookie season before trading him to Reigny. I did not want him because of his D- Potential and Attitude. But the time he was with me, he did get to have some IC work done making him better than when he was drafted. So in reality, by trading my 2013 1st round pick to reigny, I have been without a 1st rounder for 3 straight seasons. And, what is wrong with that and why am I the bad guy?

And if someone walks up to you and tells you they are going to give you $1000, are you going to turn it down.

Chuck, I am really attempting to see your point of view in this, but you are creating walls instead of building bridges.

Personally, I'm against PW protecting a league. It deters users from joining. That said, Reg is an issue but I'd like to ask you guys to not roast him publicly. It's bad form.

Months back I asked for someone else to step up and take the commissioner gig, I just don't have time to do it effectively. So if someone else, who wants to implement changes, feels strongly enough to do something, rather than complain, let me know. Otherwise: Thread Closed.

I'm not in this to take over control of things only to bring to light what is going on. Owners can justify their behavior in any number of ways but the bottom line is that people know they are exploiting this guy and taking unfair advantage of his ineptitude. Just let him play the game and not let him ruin everyone else's ability to enjoy the game by stealing candy from a baby and then claiming it is in good form to do so. ptech, your way of handling what is going on in this league is making things worse. To just shut down discussions of obvious breaches of fairness and etiquette is not helping matters. If Reigny wants to chime in and discuss what is going through his head then I would applaud that effort. What it looks like to me is that he is not willing to put his strategy under public scrutiny and that leads me to believe that he is in collusion with other owners or he is unable to handle himself on this type of gaming site.

I'm not saying you're the one who's just complaining Chuck. There have been others, regarding other issues. This isn't me blaming anyone. I'm just hoping someone will step up and take the reigns, that's all.

And for real (this time)...Thread Closed.
