JimJam - New York Bronx Bombers
Rusty3447 - Cincinnati Reds
aonemanarmy - Philidelphia Shockers
Buzzz - Cleveland Naps
Maciu - San Francisco Giants
rodrayha - Los Angeles Southland Knights
That leaves us with 8 owners, exactly half of a standard league. These following owners are currently in ownership of their teams, but they do not intend to continue running them.
shanepbrady - Montreal Blues
chance4103 - Seattle Mudd Soxs
vickiroepke - Baltimore Meat Grinders (Chaperone)
BabeDalhgren - Minnesota Twins
ruggs26 - Detroit Ambassadors
The remaining three teams do not have an owner.
Boston Bosox
Brooklyn Run N Gun
Florida Hurricane
If I am wrong about any of the preceding, please say know by commenting on this post or sending me a U2U. If anyone who currently owns a team (On the first list) that does not wish to do so, please let me know. The same goes for the second list, if there are any owners who requested their team be put up for sale and now does not wish for that to happen, once again please let me know.
With the obvious declining state of this league, I see the one of the biggest flaws as having no clear direction. That is something I want to work on, and I want more stable communication in this league. All of the owners staying are consistent and active, so I know that can happen. Although I don't like to admit it, our best option may be to merge. The IRL was brought up earlier as a potential option, but they have a much lesser need to merger and do not wish to do so. Unfortunately, due to the rules of this league, there aren't many leagues out there to merge with without going through a larger rule change. (Most likely being the use of numbers instead of letter grades) I don't think waiting it out will help our situation very much. If anybody else has some thoughts on the topic, please do share so below. We're all working together to get this league back on track.

Update: The for sale list has been updated with all teams so far. Each has positive comments, hopefully we can get a few buyers. You guys might have noticed Detroit designated a lot of talent for assignment recently, (I don't know why) but I reclaimed the players to make the team look more appealing. Once again, if anybody has thoughts about our current situation, all input is appreciated.

I think we should merge & be very flexible/open in terms of what changes we may have to make to our rules in order to get it to happen.
Then again, I'm not sure if there is any status on new buyers for teams and what not

We have to merge & we have to be open to converting to a letter system (if need be - there were too many conflicting opinions of how that would work so i'm not even sure). We're just in the holding pattern. Personally for a team that's going to contend for the next 10 years, so it kind of sucks.I think we should merge & be very flexible/open in terms of what changes we may have to make to our rules in order to get it to happen.

I agree with imccart I think we have to be more flexable in rules to be able to merge.

I have heard from Buzzz that due to summer travels, he won't be renewing for much longer. This drops our owners even further, however I have been in contact with admin who mentioned something about finding some owners or chaperones for us, we'll see how that goes.

I have purchased Florida as I loved this site since 2003 and this league is in similar rule style to the DWL 18 games vs 15 game and max improves 25 players vs max 15 players so I should able to run both easily and this league could use another Vet.

Welcome to our new owners!!! I also am glad to see that we are starting to add chaperones. Hopefully, this will buy us some time. I am willing to go with some rule changes too if it will help with a merger. I love this league and want to see it continue in some capacity.Pages: 1
