John Quiller - 56.1% completion with 3127 yards 26 TD's and 17 Ints, Quiller put on a good show as a rookie. Finishing with a 74QBR for the season, he starts off the polls for OROY honors.
Bob Kofler - It is only fair that offensive lineman be able to make this list, and Kofler should be on this list. Starting all 16 games for Ten on an offensive line that allowed only 24 sacks this season, Kofler helped provide an anchor to that offense.
Bob Valerio - What can you say about a 21 year old that comes into the league and ends up with 1054 yards receiving and 10 TDs? He dropped the ball 4 times, but on 151 targets that doesn't seem all that bad. He also ran for 138 yards.
Ken Parsons - blowing past all the RB's that were taken before him Ken played with a chip on his shoulder all season long. at 5.5 yards per carry he ran for 1911 yards and 10 TD's and only fumbled once!
Jeff Schupe OK OK he missed 3 field goals. But he also won NE a number of games this season with the kicks that he did make. 17-20 on fgs for the season he was a big pickup for a team looking to bring home another ring.

So with the comments about who should receive rookie of the year honors, i thought it would be a good idea to get the polls rolling. I will split them up between offense and defense. You know, when I drafted Kofler he had a B in Strength, which is why he fell down to the bottom of the first round. This year he added 13 improvement points in Strength! Now he is suddenly looking like an elite center, which is a rare species indeed.
