Talent pool in trial leagues

April 20, 2016 at 05:23PM View BBCode

I misread the renewal info and wound up with two teams in two different trial leagues - which I don't like doing.

one is stacked with 8 players in red letter overall rating, the other is the weakest team I've ever had without a single A+ rating between contact and power against RHP for instance;

this seems to be reflective of the league's overall talent pool. is this how trial leagues actually work? some have a bigger talent pool, others have it smaller?

As I remember it, trial leagues are clones of Dynasty leagues. Players' names are changed so it's probably near impossible to figure out which league comes from which - something I'd love to do just for fun sometime if I have way too much free time - but anyway, yes, for that reason the talent will vary from trial league to trial league.

Danny:
After being on this site for 7 years, perhaps you might like to join a real league and play more than 1 and 1/2 seasons with players?

there are something like 150 teams for sale, go for it. any league with an opening would be happy to have you.

Dynasty leagues are the next step up; they have the same rules as Trial leagues and also play 3 games per day. You can take over a Dynasty team for two seasons (four months) for $12 at http://www.simdynasty.com/replacementavailable.jsp .

Subscription leagues play anywhere from 3 to 36 games per day, and most have customized rules like different injury or retirement systems. The cost for these leagues varies depending on the number of games played per day, and since owners subscribe to these teams by the month rather than the season, there is a chance teams may have more or less than their usual number of draft picks available. You can see the list of available teams at http://www.simdynasty.com/privateavailable.jsp .

thanks guys but it's hard times right now.

$10 US dollars are like more than 30 brazilian bucks and I have a gf and mother to support. one day I'll have a real dynasty team though don't worry.
