HOF Vote

April 15, 2016 at 01:38PM View BBCode

Are we ever going to have another HOF Vote? the last class that went in is from 2010 and we are in 2022, lots of catching up to do.

I know. Its my fault. Everytime I think about getting it updated I get distracted with something. At a softball tournament this weekend. I will get the next class prepared by Monday afternoon.

Okay, no worries. I know there are way more important things in life than our little fantasy league. I appreciate the time you put into it when you can.

HOF Vote

Just wondering if we are ever going to have a Hall of Fame Vote again, or it that is just gone by the wayside...it's a little thing but does add to the league

Do we already have the nominations and just need to vote or do we actually need the nominees as well? I'm going to guess the latter.

Tonight or tomorrow, I'll try to go through and put a big list of nominees together, so we can get this ball rolling.

Okay here's a list we can use (or use as a jumping off point anyway). I couldn't figure out exactly when you last voted, so I just created a list of anyone who seemed semi-borderline or better (a few of them are super old, so if you don't want re-submits - assuming they were submitted the first time around - just ignore those ones).....

Next class would be those who retired in 2018.

But I like the idea of revisiting some old timers

Thanks for putting this together, I hope everyone will vote with a new person taking over, but what is the criteria, is there a limit on how many you can vote for, how many votes to get in, to stay on ballot etc and how many years can they stay on the ballot?. Here are my votes assuming unlimited number are allowed.

Jones, Bates, Winters, Lemongello, Guerrero, Jorgen

Since we?re encompassing several years here, I think unlimited votes is probably the best route. I?m not sure if there's previously held acceptance rules -- 75% probably?? That?s with, hopefully, 50-75%+ of the league voting. Then some sort of threshold to be kept around on the next ballot? 25%+?

If anyone knows if there are established rules, please let us know! Otherwise, we can drudge through the dark and figure them out as we go here.
