1st, major grats to Lumina for an outstanding season and a good game. But what Tim Tebow did in the Sim Bowl was criminal. No one would have beat the Feds today.

Tim Tebow was 16/17 (94%) for 296yds, 3TDs, no picks, no sacks. Averaged 17.4yds per completion (avg 8.7YACs). He did this while completing passes to 6 different receivers.

I wish I could say I'm some kind of genius and Ive found the secret formula but that would be a lie. I guess it was a matchup thing.

Timmy T! The best 5th round draft choice in the history of Sim Dynasty:spin:

There wasn't much I could do without Alphonso Elric. Ishmael Levinson got burned throughout the game. Talented as Tony Shepard is, we were giving up runs for a lot of yardage but I couldn't commit to stopping that hole because I didn't know when or how Tebow would start passing. I mean, some of the passes Tebow made today were really out of control. There isn't much you can do when a QB is making 20+ yard throws on the regular but your defense can't hold the run well enough to go after him. Tebow's sky high exeuction turned a lot of passes that would have been intercepted by any other QB made at the rate Tebow was throwing deep passes into gamekillers. Nolan Creed and my offense didn't do terribly putting up 23 points but some of those field goals could have been touchdowns and it would have been a different story. Creed threw a remarkably low number of TDs through the playoffs and once again all my TDs were TD runs, but without Alphonso Elric anchoring the secondary, they let Tebow and Shepard get out of control. Having faced several A QB/RB combos, I wasn't expecting that and I guess didn't realize how much Alphonso Elric was really doing to contain plays. I thought Ken Belanger and Ishmael Levinson would be enough.

But I got an A aggression QB to the Sim Bowl, he didn't throw a ton of touchdowns but he threw three really great games and didn't really turn off the ball much in spite of averaging thirty or more passes in the postseason. I won 16 straight games, the game was a defensive failure and not offensive but the Feds have a similar offense to mine in that it's hard to really commit to stopping the run or the pass, but the defense just completely crapped its self today and only one player was missing, lol

Good game. Creed's 27, I've got a few more years to try again. Hopefully it doesn't take another year+ to get back to a championship game, but I feel at peace to know there wasn't really much I could do. Bob Crockett (CB) got injured again too in the second quarter which killed me because he's the nickleback and a lot of my corners are just on the active roster for special teams. John Johnos let up some crazy dodged tackle today... I tried to have as as much strategic depth as possible, but it's hard to invest in a third string secondary that matches up to someone like Alphonso Elric who wouldn't have forced me to decide if I was going to stop the pass or the run.

Towards the end of the fourth quarter, I had slowed them down enough to hold them to field goals but they still killed the clock. A pretty promising TD drive turned into a field goal and they just ran out of time. I don't blame my offense.

Philadelphia and New Englamd have combined to win the last 5 sim bowls and 6 of the last 9! Pretty impressive with this group of owners.

COME ON GUYS, we need to put a stop to this. That includes me.

We can't let them win another for at least 5 years.

Arguably we have 2 players here I would say are in the top 5 elite. 6-7 top 10 elite. I wont go into who etc..... I can only hope to one day soon crack into the top 15 list..... and zimmmer has not even begun yet while repplayer is going to possibly cause plenty of head aches.

And Tebow once again has minimal declines....The draft steal of a lifetime.
