04:02. NYN 4/5 NYN 32 4th and 5 for the FOOTBALL SQUAD, they huddle and line up in a Punt Tight Wing; the Bazookas line up in a Punt Return.

The punt by Billy Hampton is blocked by Bob Hall.
Bob Hall recovers the ball for the Bazookas at the NYN 24.
Bob Hall returns the loose ball to the NYN 19.
This is monumentally rare. I was wondering if there was a unique set of circumstances here that contributed to it but I can't see anything. Bob Hall is a backup DE with no outstanding attributes.

It is a pre-season game and may have something to do with there being 2nd and 3rd string OL. I just had to post because I was always told this was in the game and I had never seen it.

Just for perspective, I signed up for a team the day the football sim went live. I've 'played' literally thousands of games. I've been a beta tester for the last 3 years and was involved in the development of the game in it's current form. And this is the 1st blocked punt I've ever seen. In another league, I was in a playoff game, punting from my 9-yard-line wiht less than two-minutes to go in the first half. A blocked punt gives my opponent the ball on the 1-yard-line. Lost the game by 5 points :(

Having a punt blocked to lose a game is about the worst end-game scenario Ive heard.
