Late Season Observation

March 02, 2016 at 03:11AM View BBCode

Took an objective late season look at the JDL. In the almost 31 seasons that I have been a member of this league, I don't believe that The league has been this competitive. There are some real powerhouses ( Baltimore, CHA, CHN, Cincy , Seattle, Brooklyn). All of those teams deserve a championship. .....too bad for them that Baltimore and CHN are monsters !
There are several teams on the rise, that are are being rapidly and quietly built into playoff contenders. LAA, LAN, Washington, KC, NYN, and pretty much every other team in the league.
The next few seasons should be very interesting. Good Luck to all.

You can take Brooklyn off that list for the next number of seasons.

CHN is becoming the over the hill gang and thought we would have 1 more WS Championship but I HAVE THAT HAND IT TO BALTIMORE for their Dynasty team. CN

I agree. Baltimore has got to be the single most dominant team that I have seen in the JDL, in any season !

Just think if Mike hadn't traded Weiland. He might have been their #4 starter. KW

Trading Weiland was the move that made it possible to get Sir Charles. I needed a serious bat in the middle of that line up, and that was how I did it.

NYN had 127 wins in 1984 ! Before my time but must have been a helluva team.
