<b> Barring a couple of deals the top 12 picks are now in the final geo 2nd ed. prediction.
#1 - Min - QB - Fod Fitzgerald Jr. - AKA (Smith) - with a QB drought on the way till only 1 freshman is available the hope is the Jr. can step in only 1 of his fathers shoes. Slow development has kep this young man at A/A in college from day 1 but he should shine around some good player.
#2 - Min - LT - James Hodge - his combine was just average compaired to some of the other talents his A- Str is overlooked by his ag/pb reds. All teams must protect their valuable assets.
#3 - Fla - A possible trade down may happen as the team is loaded on the O side - What will they choose if they stay 3rd? - CB - Barron Hagberg - after a dominant combine he showed us a 4.36 40 yd dash and plenty of jump - add to this wont turn 22 till November - and don't Forget the triple A+ Sweet.
#4 - Min - CB - Al Smith - will help complete the nice 4-3 D for Minnesota solid combine plenty of upside geos 2nd ed. has red flagged his tackling. Can we see early improvements?
#5 - Min - WR - Thom Riopel - While Duke ran an insane 40 and 2 others are red Riopel will turn 22 in May - his ability to catch run and jump please the eye of Sota scouts and Jr. gets his #1.
#6 - Vir - RT - Joe Milo - pirate will risk waiting to take the FB later and please superstar McCullough his A+ RB by getting him a right Tackle to bolster up the line another not to weak spot is going to cause fear on all opponents.
#7 - Orl - WR - Keith Parsons - As Porter enters his Twilight and saladin show that he is improving this young double A+ star falls to #7 and fans in Orlando will celebrate getting this possible super star - his balanced high combine means plenty.
#8 - Ind - LT - Doak Woods - The dawg has 5 sloid picks this draft to fill in some very important spots. Abbot must have protection for his final 4-5 years in order to shine. It will be difficult to pass on a quality all important Tackle in this spot - other holes can be filled in later.
#9 - Col - WR - Paul Stransky - how sweet it is prideco to take care of his Sophmore Moorman and with a rich bunch of picks in this draft should be laughing all the way to the BANK.
#10 - Cle - I can see a trade down within the next 16 hours or so as zimmer looks to use his scouting talent to get a 2 or 3 for 1 deal- Otherwise we see - RB - Russel Gay - he has the skill set to be a Monster and H Pot/Att just about to turn 22 will up quickly. he may also demand a high price on the Block as he is an every down stud.
#11 - Dal - G - Van Gilliam - on the fringe of the next level ggforth needs to fill in an aging set of guards gilliam is a perfect fit for Dallas his high pot and stamina make him a prefered selection and we can't forget the 3 a's on ST/AG/ and bonus smooth hands.
#12 - SD - QB - Art Christianson - We have the second quarter back go in round 1 - as eldande takes the power arm to the test in a perhaps all or nothing move if his exe is in the D's or worse- a risk that is worth taking perhaps.
#13 - Ind - WR - Bob Williams - with the QB protection upped the dawg uses his 2nd first rounder to get a much need speedster who shined at the combine add to this he turns 21 in May and another eye sore is wiped clean on the teams roster other 1 more hole is filled in well.
#14 - Atl - WR - Nate Neil - mclovin has some age issues to contend with and the run ow wide receivers continues till the well runs dry and fast. Excellent combine and a nasty jumper takes the edge off his age of soon to be 23.
#15 - NJ - RT - Frank Mauer - A possible game maker here for redsox to open up a path for his premier running back and his game will get better. with plenty of bench quality to trade he can easily fill the other weak spot on his team and open up his cap.
More later
I'll try to add more later this is fun but it tires me.
What do you think about the Mock draft? logical foolish way out in left field or home run?????
