i played around with them a couple years ago and the settings didn't negatively affect things.
but now crazy things are happening, leaving SP pitchers too long in the 8th and 9th innings and blowing huge leads

what are the default settings on pitcher preferences in terms of keeping them in the game?i played around with them a couple years ago and the settings didn't negatively affect things.

If you pull your starter when tired and a runner on first or worse-case second they won't be in there "too long."

The defaults stink. Your pitchers can get pulled arbitrarily for junk relievers.If you pull your starter when tired and a runner on first or worse-case second they won't be in there "too long."

Join a trial league and you'll be able to see the defaults.From my memory, they do suck
