I'd come up with a wittier response but I'm too busy releasing my pitching staff for their performance in the series.

An LA team that did not have a single player rated B- or better on the 25 man roster when I took over the team during the '55 season is now in the WS.
Afeter falling down 3 games to 0 to a great Mets team, I thought that it might take another year or two. I'm Very surprised by the epic comeback.
Off to Detroit to face up against the best pitching in the MRL. Injuries continue to plague the team with Pavel Despaigne getting dinged and missing the next 5 days.

Off to Detroit to face up against the best pitching in the MRL. Injuries continue to plague the team with Pavel Despaigne getting dinged and missing the next 5 days.

It worked out pretty well, bar Jim Maloney, who decided he didn't feel like converting improvements any more at 21 years old. He must be related somehow to Mr. Williams on the Southland Knights' staff.

Well, that's a lot of #1 picks, plus all rebuilds gotta wrap up at some point. I took over an old, veteran stocked, previous post-season team with few prospects. It took about 8 years, but look where we are now. Losing the ALCS after gaining a 3-1 lead. :)It worked out pretty well, bar Jim Maloney, who decided he didn't feel like converting improvements any more at 21 years old. Well, you were able to out-lose me, and that got you Jean Pierre-Williams, Nigel Riddlemoser, Bane Malar, and Harc Seff. (In hindsight, it makes a lot of sense that TimeOfTime was in the OGL)
I got Dale Bannon, Oscar Ellis, Mattheus Robinson, and Tim Weingartner (Whom I traded) When you do a comparison, it kind of makes sense.
