Just getting out in front...

We have 1 chaperone, one totally inactive owner who wants to sell and two troopers that have maintained nice control of their teams while trying to sell.
First of all... Kudos and great thanks to MIA, MON, and HOU... your efforts are highly appreciated,
For everyone else. This leave us at 12 dedicated owners. My question to you is, would you like to look for another league that is in a similar spot and merge to a 24 team format, or would you prefer bots?
I will say having gone through a merger in another league, the 24 team league are pretty fun with expanded playoff chances and seemingly deeper drafts.
I would like to note this is nothing being pushed by Admin nor has there been any real internal push. I am just putting it out there as an option as I have been trying to get owners into these franchises for a while and there seems to be little interest.
Option 1 would be for new owners and to keep this great league in tact as it stands.
Option 2 would be to merge with another league into a 24 team format and keep our franchises in tact.
Option 3 - let's not talk about now.
Nothing needs to be posted here per se... a u2u to me would be a great start, but discussion about the future in an open forum never hurt anyone either.

There are only two other leagues that play 15 GPD w/numbers and a max development minor league system: Cy Young League and Nomar Garciaparra League.
The Cy Young League is already in the 24-team format and they have four vacancies. The NGL is a 16-team league but only has one opening and they use Variable Development.
Owner Maciu is the only overlap so two other owners would have to agree to leave either this league or that league to make enough openings for a merger.
Just a little infobacky to stuff into the pipe of your decision-making.

I see other options, but owners would have to be flexible and maybe meet in the middle on some things.

This might sound odd, but is a de-merger a possibility? If you combine the teams that aren't for sale from both leagues, you get 32. So just have 4 owners from the Cy Young League join this one, then you have two 16 team leagues. However, I'm not sure everyone would be in support of this, especially those who might have to move.

I only have a few days left on the free subscription to the Los Angeles team and I do not intend to renew. Los Angeles is now a solid contender so my work here is done.
