Mike Farmer (1-4) got the win for Toronto who came from behind to tie and then win in extra innings. Baltimore took a 2-0 lead in the 6th innings. Darin Chavez RBI double and Terry Cangilosi's RBI triple gave Baltimore their lead.
Toronto got one run back in the 7th inning. Al Upchurch singled to drive in the run.
In the 9 Toronto got the tying run. John Penner singled, stole second base and scored on a single by Dick Olsen.
Catcher Joe Gonzalez signed in the 10th. Jeff LeJohn pinch ran for him and scored on Mike Graham's game winning single.
Texas 3 Detroit 0
Jack Jaha 6th inning double produced Texas' first run. The Roadies added two more in the 8th inning on a Jim Jones RBI double and a Jaha single.
Nolan Ryan struck out 9 walked 2 and allowed only four hits over 8 innings to improve to 5-1.
Steve Hargan closed down Detroit in the 9th for his second save.
Oakland 4 Boston 1
Ed Dopson (5-1) kept his run of outstanding starts going by going seven innings giving up just 5 hits one run walked 4 struck out 5.
Ellis Hamilton (8th inning) and Allen Hockenberry (9th 12th save) provided the A's with excellent relief pitching.
Oakland scored three runs in the bottom of the second.
Dave McLeland singled, Jason Gorman had a run scoring triple and Law Chamberlain hit a two run home, his 5th of the season.
Jack Johnson made it 4-0 in the 6th with a RBI single driving in Danny Durazzo who singled.
Hod Carney hit his 4th of the season in the 7th with no one on to beak up the shut out.
