Dean puts a stellar season together and wins the N.L. Pitchers Triple Crown. It is the 13th time in RJL league history and only the 11th pitcher to achieve the feat.
Not looking stellar in his 2 starts in the NLCS and taking 2 losses, he hopes to rebound as his New York Hoodrats move on to the World series.
Good luck to Dean and to both teams...(kick some butt NY!)

My whole team performed awfully aside from the Woody's and the Chance's. I got bailed out by my bench players on several occasions and my bullpen didn't allow a run in 10 2/3 IP to help me squeak past that tough Nightwolves team.
Tough series for NL fireman Vic Richardson too. Gave up two game winning homers to bench players. Outcome could have been a lot different and I consider myself nothing but lucky.
If I could name an NLCS MVP it would be Tank Ojeda - yeah he was on the losing team but he hands down had the best series of anybody putting the screws to my offense for two wins.

You mean NL fireman Reed Logan? He had his name legally changed several years ago :). Yeah, he had me cussing. Can't believe he blew both of those games in the 9th. I knew it was gonna be tough against you.....Can't make mistakes like that. Losing my best hitter McMath to injury really hurt my lineup. I don't have the pop that yours does, but I'm not making excuses. I know you lost a great hitter also. One of these days I'm gonna find a way to win an NLCS. My record so far is pretty abysmal.
Good luck in the series, represent us well!

I always think about Reed Logan as he was back when I drafted him and completely forget he's going by a different name now...that's embarrassing.
I assembled a lot of depth for this team to help me make it to the playoffs and more often than not I find those extra guys stepping up on the big stage. Carl Nicholson's had a huge year for me off the bench and as an injury fill in(3 seperate times!). I don't know if ABE does partial points in all-star voting but he deserves a ROY tie with Bobby Hill as far as I'm concerned.
None of those NLCS games were easy to watch...between my golden boy getting shelled(twice!) and my offense being shut down by your starters more often than not things didn't seem to be going very well for me. I feel lucky to say my team just found a way to win and looking at the numbers, I'm not really sure what it was. MVP Clarence Rambo managed just 4 hits and somehow found a way to drive in 7 runs with them. Meanwhile I'm not sure Bullet Bailey or Fran Smith recorded an out. Another in a line of well battled series I'm just happy to sneak out on top of. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of those Nightwolves in the coming seasons.
Toronto's club is sure to have it out for me after last year's series so I'm expecting another tough one tomorrow. Hopefully the numbers aren't as brutal as this one was.
