Congrats to KC and St.L This is St.Louis 5th straight WS and seven in a row dating back to the last 2 HWL seasons. They are a dynasty but my money is on the Kangaroos, they are built on SP and it faltered some in the playoffs. Yet, they still cruise to the WS; this is their year.

Some of the middle-tier teams look ready to rise up in 1975, so it should be interesting to see how next season plays out!

Congrats KC! Another win for a former HWL team. Eventually a Speaker team will break the ice, but I'm not sure it'll be next season....Some of the middle-tier teams look ready to rise up in 1975, so it should be interesting to see how next season plays out!

As a baseball fan, I would have loved to have been able to watch that Game 7 live...an extra inning affair for all the marbles. It doesn't get any better than that.

We thought we were in with a chance to make the WS. Never in the world did we think we'd have a chance against St Louis.
As it happened, we needed all the luck possible to squeeze that one out (and yes, I was pretty nervous watching extra innings in Game 7)
