Past Skills Question

I wasn't 100% sure about this, so I wanted to ask. Past Skills shows the stats at the start of the year right? Or is it the end of the year? I thought it was the start but then it showed some of my prospects (who were in the previous draft) as their current grades, not as what they started at.

It calculates it as if they are always in the middle of their current grade. So basically if its showing them in the past as their current grades and not what they started at it just means they are below halfway in their grade currently.

It is always the grade immediately after the OS runs. However, since ABE "reverse engineers" the # of conversions from their current grade, the Past Skills can change from what they were on Draft Day.

If a player starts at 51 (last C+ grade) and gets one improvement to B-, then the past skills page will display B- as starting skill. This is because past skills is calculated as this: Take the middle of the current grade (for B- this is 56), subtract the number of improvements (1), and display the grade from that value (56-1=55 which is B-).
