Would there be any support for moving the early game a waaayyy back to like 1 or 2 AM Eastern? (10/11pm Pacific time)
You could catch each series opener at the same time you do now, or earlier. East Coasters could wake up to it, West Coasters could too, or they could watch it before bed.

As one of the west-coasters in the league that we'd dreamed of adding a "night" game for, I have to say a 3:57pm nightcap isn't actually all that satisfying, so I just had another idea.Would there be any support for moving the early game a waaayyy back to like 1 or 2 AM Eastern? (10/11pm Pacific time)

Or maybe you need to have a better nightcap than SimD? I can suggest a nice domestic porter (Heavy Seas Blackbeards Breakfast is a personal favorite), layer in a fine medium to full bodied maduro cigar, perhaps a Cohiba Red Dot or a Camacho Triple Maddy, and you will not miss the lack of a west coast late game.
In all seriousness, I would not have a problem with moving that early game, would it work even if it was at like 3am to miss the overnight maintenance...

Paul, I think a better solution would be for you to just move back to the east coast, we suit you much better!Or maybe you need to have a better nightcap than SimD? The nightly backup is at 3am eastern, and lasts for about 10 minutes.

I try not to drink beer too close to bedtime, I've already reached a point in my life where that results in a 4am pee break. Have you been to San Diego though, supposedly it's like the craft beer capital of the country over here. Me I'll drink anything, I don't know the difference, ha...The nightly backup is at 3am eastern, and lasts for about 10 minutes.

I'm flexible on the schedule. Would ten p.m. East coast work? Late enough to be a true night game on the west coast, but not so late the eastern folks couldn't see it.

I might fight you on this one. Stone is no joke but Sonoma/Marin counties are freakishly good. I could provide copious examples, but I don't want to hijack the thread too much.
I'm good with the times. If we move the night game later, I probably wouldn't get around to it until the next day.

I'm at the Charlotte airport waiting for a connection and I totally just realized the first game doesn't pop off until 9am out here. what the heck do you guys do when you wake up in the morning, read the news lol. incidentally, i think my bladder has re-stabilized itself since this thread started, maybe it was just a phase

For me the night game is beetween 8 PM and 10 PM (depending the time of the year-ours daylight saving times aren't sync).
But I usually dont go to bed before midnight.
So if the night game is early because of me, you can move the game 1 or 2 hours later and there will be no problem at all.
Also the first game for me is beetween 10AM and noon, so I watch during lunch time haha.

I'm on CST, so I like the games as they are currently. A change of an hour, or maybe two, one way or the other won't make too much of a difference for me. But moving a game to one or two AM CST, Im definitely opposed to...

I think we are talking 8am EST for the early game and 9pm EST for the late game. I'm in the Central too so our game times would be 7am, 1pm and 8pm.Pages: 1
