We all have a bunch of procedural questions for admin, I'll bet. If you all will post them here, I'll try to pull them all together into one message for admin, rather than peppering him with 20 or so separate messages.July 20, 2015 at 05:18PM View BBCode
Did a quick look at the cities in the two leagues, as it stands right now.July 20, 2015 at 05:25PM View BBCode
How will we decide divisions/league structure?July 20, 2015 at 05:26PM View BBCode
Oops you posted some of the answers already, just ignore my questions that overlap hehehe...July 20, 2015 at 06:16PM View BBCode
Don't think it affects me personally but what about traded draft picks, especially with defunct teams?July 21, 2015 at 08:51PM View BBCode

In the AL:
10 paid: Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, KC, Oakland, Seattle, Texas from the DJL, Detroit, New York, Oakland from the WWL.
2 renewing: Minnesota and Washington from the WWL.
2 unknown: KC and Tampa Bay from the WWL.
conflicts in Detroit and Oakland, both owners paid up to date. Owner Fredbirds is in the AL of both leagues.
In the NL:
9 paid: Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis from the DJL, Colorado and New York from the WWL.
4 renewing: Brooklyn, Miami, St. Louis, San Francisco from the WWL.
only conflict is in St. Louis, DJL owner paid up, WWL owner renewing.

Thanks for the update Pierzynski, it is awesome having you and Dabigtrain working hard on this merger, I agree this will be a superb league having played in both leagues!!July 21, 2015 at 09:58PM View BBCode
I am keeping the Minnesota team from the WWL, and letting the Seattle team from the DJL dissolve, if you look at the age of the rosters you will understand why.July 21, 2015 at 10:14PM View BBCode
Looking forward to it. I have to admit , when we first started talking merger , I was one of the biggest naysayers as I have played 24 team format and was not a fan. BUT.... Having been in WWL since the beginning(30th season) with a lot of the same owners AND seeing a lot of familiar names in the DJL , I am no longer a skeptic. I've been in Sim for 325 seasons and have played against over half of the DJL owners at one time or another , so let's rumble once again! btw , I have been in Oakland for all 30 seasons and would hope to stay there as it's brought me good fortune , but will defer if the DJL owner has been there longer. Let's get everybody signed up and paid for so this off season is a short one. SteveJuly 22, 2015 at 01:18PM View BBCode
Just renewed the Washington team from the WWL. Traveling this week with limited connectivity but am open to any arrangements that make this work.July 22, 2015 at 02:01PM View BBCode
Originally posted by Pierzynski(we don't have a STL team btw)My mistake, I saw "San Diego" and throught "St. Louis." Our San Diego team is leaving, so no conflict there. I edited the original post to reflect that.

Lets get this done, my young team is having a hard time keeping its arse out of trouble with all this free time. There's only so many "team building" bowling events we can hold to keep them distracted lolJuly 22, 2015 at 02:50PM View BBCode
I have heard that a road trip to Wally World can be fun.....and completely uneventful! Try that.:lol:July 22, 2015 at 10:24PM View BBCode
I have the Detroit team in WWL. I am fine with giving up the City name for another. Looking forward to the merger.July 22, 2015 at 10:57PM View BBCode
Miami has just confirmed to me that he is in. I edited my post above to reflect. So it looks like we are up to 9 from the WWLJuly 23, 2015 at 01:45AM View BBCode
Brooklyn is now in. I have edited my post again. I think we are at 10 from the WWLJuly 23, 2015 at 01:46PM View BBCode

I would say it is great to see this coming together, and it is also great to hear from my former WWL'ers, I know you guys are a tough and competitive bunch, I look forward to competing again against you guys.July 23, 2015 at 06:50PM View BBCode
I have a question on this. as we cut down to a 24 team league, will the players on teams that will be dissolving enter the waiver list of players and thus be eligible to be picked up via waivers?July 23, 2015 at 08:07PM View BBCode
And I propose the league be named the Wilbur Jeter, that way it keeps the uniqueness of each leagues names. The other combinations sound a bit odd to me...July 24, 2015 at 01:15AM View BBCode
The way it worked in the other combined league that I am in, the players on the dissolved team cease to exist.July 24, 2015 at 02:02AM View BBCode
