18 wins in a row is statistically unlikely for even the best team, but I would hardly consider 96 wins through this point a fluke coming off 102 wins on the season last year. We'll see where it all lands I guess...
Oh, and don't blame the simulator. It's really poor form.

You mean my pitching staff with the 3.54 team ERA and 1.26 team WHIP that is leading the league in strikeouts? my pitching staff IS better and that is a FACT. if you think i don't know what i'm talking about just take a look at the all time WS chmpionship leader board.

Smoll/Chiozza... Smoll's A+/B+ trumps Chiozza's A+/B, but Chiozza's A endurance gives and edge over Smoll's B+.... slight edge PITT

Otherwise, I'll agree with you that this league's settings seem to be busted. There's no way in hell my team should be 8 under .500 and 31 back... and for the second time in three years... my entire pitching staff has near career worst seasons. Not to mention half of my lineup.
