To keep this forum a little cleaner, if everyone will send their nomination picks for rookie of the year to me U2U in the following format i will compile the total counts for the top 5 on each side of the ball and then submit that for voting on this forum.

Ok, I am not sure if i am stepping on anyone's toes by doing this, but i am going to start the voting for Rookie of the Year Awards. Defense, Leon Dyson, Virginia. Tied for league lead in sacks.
Terry Pitts, Arizona comes close but injury and 1 TD hurts.

Yea, the votes should be done on this thread, not by U2U, thats just asking for trouble.

Its fine, last thing i want to do is give anyone something to complain and gripe about so scratch the initial, everyone clutter up this thread with your nominations instead of U2Uing me

I will initiate the poll after the nominations are in Geo. figured i would let owners nominate who they thought the best rookies were for offense and defense and then do the poll with the top 3 in each. that way there isn't a long list of 96 rookies that got drafted in the 1-3 rounds and started on someones roster.

1. Terry Pitts (ARI) - 1031 yrd receiving with 498 YAC in 12 games is pretty stout. Wasn't a big redzone impact, but always fought to get ARI to the redzone
2. Scott Roberson (MON) - 1135 Rushing Yrds avg 5.1. 1 fumble in 224 attempts
3. Jason Watts (SYR) - 1491 rushing yards. 5.0 average and 2 fumbles in 299 attempts dropped him below Roberson on my list.
Defense
1. Jay Erlandson (SD) - 12 sacks 1FF
2. Leon Dyson (VIR) - 13 sacks 1FF
3. Kelvin Anderson (SD) - 3 sacks, 1 INT 1 TD 1FF
